2024 News:
Stancell's artwork has been selected for the Winter/Spring 2025 edition of Studio Visit Magazine, published by Open Studios Press, Boston, MA by the juror for this edition, Sarah Montross, Senior Curator, deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum, Lincoln, MA.
Postcards to Miami includes Some Blossom Shapes, a small painting by Stancell. The exhibit is on view from December 4 to 8, 2024 at Aquaartmiami, presented by Odetta Digital collaboratively with the Shim Art Network's international community of artist run spaces.
Seven paintings of Stancell's earlier still life and floral works were included in the Equity Gallery, New York, NY, Summer Spotlight Exhibition, one of the gallery's three mini solo shows at 245 Broome Street, New York, NY from July 25th to August 9th, 2024.
Two of Stancell's mountain paintings, Chugach Diptych and Purple Mountains (Chugach Sunset II) were included in the Bendheim Gallery Nostalgia exhibition, 299 Greenwich Avenue, Greenwich, CT. The exhibition dates were September 19 to November 14, 2024. Stancell's Chugach paintings were inspired by the awe-inspiring views of the Chugach Mountains seen from her hotel room in Anchorage, Alaska.
Stancell's painting, Untitled, was included in the exhibition of the artists of the Greenwich Branch of The American Pen Women at Les Beaux Arts Gallery, 395 Round Hill Road, Greenwich, CT from October 3 to October 30, 2024.
Stancell's 7x7 inch painting, Leaf, was included in the exhibit Post Cards to Venice at #Hashtags Gallery, Mexico City, Mexico from June 8 to June 22, 2023. This exhibit then traveled to Venice, Italy and was on exhibit from September 3, 2024 until November 3, 2024 at Palazzo Pisani Revedin, Sestiere San Marco 4023/A, Venezia. This show will travel next to Aqua Miami where it will be on view from December 5 to 8, 2024 with the Shim Art Network at the Aqua Hotel.
Her painting, Tulips, was exhibited in The 135th Exhibition of The National Association of Women Artists at One Art Space, New York, NY, June 7 to June 22, 2024.
